Game World & Storytelling
In Bullet’s Edge, you play as a new recruit going through intense military training. You have a harsh drill sergeant “encouraging” you along the way. We wanted this game to have a sci-fi feel, so the levels use a futuristic design and the player has a laser gun. To become the best soldier possible, you play through obstacle courses with numerous targets to hone your speed, reflexes, and accuracy.
Game Play Goal
This game’s goal is competition, but not in the traditional sense. You’re not playing against an opponent in the game. This game’s goal is to complete the levels as fast and accurately as possible. You’re competing against yourself and others to achieve the best time/score. Your best run is calculated using those two stats and saved between playthroughs.
